About 20 international students are participating in the four week JU Summer School at Jönköping University, where they study strategic purchasing processes and visit several companies. They also learn about Swedish traditions and will, among other things, celebrate Midsummer.“I have waited a long time to come, and I am so happy to be here,” says JU Summer School student Mariana Leandro from Mexico.

  • Jönköping hosts Ukrainian delegation to explore public sector modernisation


    This week, Jönköping University welcomes ten politicians and public servants from the north-eastern Ukrainian municipality of Konotop. They will spend five intensive days visiting municipal, private, and third-sector organisations to learn about the democratisation and modernisation of the public sector.

  • High spirits at graduation ceremonies


    graduation ceremonies On 5 June, the School of Health and Welfare (HHJ), Jönköping University (JU), held its graduation ceremony at Pingstkyrkan. On 7 June, the School of Education and Communication (HLK), JU, held its graduation ceremony at Elmia. In total, around 700 students attended the two ceremonies.

    There are many activities going on at Jönköping University (JU) ahead of the European elections. On Thursday 30 May, an EU debate was held at JU, and on Friday 31 May, EU Minister Jessika Roswall visited to encourage students to go and vote in the important election on 9 June.

A total of 1,055 students attended the School of Engineering’s (JTH) and Jönköping International Business School's (JIBS) graduation ceremonies on 31 May and 1 June, respectively.“It feels a little surreal to finish. I did not think time would go by so fast, says Nemanja Stojanovic who has studied Architectural Engineering at JTH.

    Fair. 120 students at the School of Engineering (JTH) Jönköping University (JU) participated in the so called Xjobbsmässan at Campus Arena on 30 May. There were also many companies on site.“The School of Engineering is a great recruiting base for us and it's fun to see the students' final thesis projects,” says Mikael Siebers, HR Business Partner at Saab Training & Simulation in Huskvarna.
