Ulrika's research has been published in renowned international journals, e.g. Public Understanding of Science, Environmental Communication, Journalism Studies and European Journal of Communication and she has led a number of externally funded research projects, for example, “Nature meets network society: Citizens' social representations of nature in social media,” funded by the research council Formas. Ulrika is also a member of the editorial boards of the journals Environmental Communication and Frontiers in Communication: Science and Environmental Communication.
