Anup Banerjee

Anup is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS). He holds a Ph.D. and MSc in Business Administration from JIBS. His research focuses on corporate governance and board leadership across various organizational forms. His work has been published in reputable outlets, including The British Accounting Review and Corporate Governance: An International Review, and presented at major conferences such as the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, EGOS, and IFERA Annual Conference.

At JIBS, Anup teaches and supervises theses in leadership, organization, and entrepreneurship. As a service to the profession, he regularly reviews for leading academic journals and conferences. Anup has held multiple leadership roles, including founding chair of the JU Doctoral Student Council (JU Doktorandråd) and main representative on JIBS’ Board of Doctoral Candidates (BoDC). Anup was a visiting researcher at the University of Oxford and holds an MBA and BBA in Marketing from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
