The overall purpose of the doctoral project is to examine existential health and well-being in parents within the transition to parenthood and to examine midwives' understanding of existential health related to parenthood
Åsa Gamgam Leanderz is a Registered Nurse and Midwife and has worked in the medical emergency department, surgery- and haematologistlinke department as well as in municipal health care and at the Midwifery Unit in Primary Care. Since May 2019, enrolled as a doctoral student at the Research School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University, employed by the University of Skövde and devotes 80% of his working time to doctoral studies and works 20% with teaching.
Gamgam Leanderz is a member of the inter-professional research environment CHILD at Jönköping University and the Research Group Family-Centered Health (FamCeH) at the University of Skövde.
