Biography

Patrik Haraldsson works as a dusiness developer at Arbetsmiljöenheten, which is a built-in Occupational Health Service (OHS) in Region Jönköping County. In the spring of 2020, Patrik completed a master´s degree with focus on work environment and health at Lund University. Since January 2021, he has been enrolled as a doctoral student at Jönköping University. 

Research

The focus of Patrik´s research is Structured Multidisciplinary Work Evaluation Tool (SMET). SMET is an OHS method for support in systematic work environment management developed in Region Jönköping County. The research aims to ensure good quality in the method and to evaluate how work with the SMET method can affect the work environment in healthcare.

The preliminary title of the thesis is "Promoting health by adapting work to the worker. -A pragmatist complexity approach to occupational health in a hospital setting". The main supervisor is Kristina Areskoug Josefsson, Professor at Högskolan Väst. Co-supervisors are Dirk Jonker PhD and Axel Ros Associated professor, both affiliated with Jönköping University.
