Research
My main area of research is pragmatics, primarily related to spoken English.
Biography
I was born and raised in Stockholm, where I studied English, law, linguistics and social anthropology at the university. Subsequently I got my PhD in English linguistics from Stockholm University. My teaching at Jönköping University includes, e.g., syntax, semantics, pragmatics and sociolinguistics. Before I came here, I taught at Stockholm and Örebro Universities. Other work experiences include reading talking books in English and Swedish, translation work and teaching grammar and conversation.
