Christian König-Kersting is an economist specializing in behavioral and experimental economics. He investigates decision-making under risk and uncertainty, time preferences, social norms, and climate change mitigation. In addition, he conducts ambitious metascience projects designed to assess the robustness of published findings, improve scientific practices, and provide clearer identification of complex societal phenomena.

His work has appeared in leading field and general-interest journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Economic Theory, and the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.
