I am an Assistant Professor for Economics at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) since October 2019. Previously I was an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Public Economics at the University of Münster (2011-2019). I received my PhD from Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg in 2010.

My main research interest is in Public Economics. Currently I focus, in particular, on tax competition, digitalization of the public sector, and the sharing economy.

At JIBS I am currently involved in two externally financed research projects: “Digital Platforms: Regulate or Collaborate?” (with M. I am the Director of Studies for Economics, Finance, and Statistics (position shared with Johannes Hagen).
