Digital Transformation in the Anthropocene 7.5 credits
Course Contents
The course introduces digitalization as a tool for business model innovation whilst considering safe and just planetary boundaries. The course addresses the challenges and opportunities of digitalization transformation from the perspective of organizational change and stakeholder management in various industry settings and regions considering the Anthropocene.
The course allows the students to apply their knowledge and skills to cases of digital transformation within the planetary boundaries.
**Connection to Research and Practice**
The course connects with research carried out at JIBS in the areas of renewal, ownership, sustainability and digital innovation relevant to MMTC. Up to date research on digitalization in various markets and industries as well as the cases of companies that undergo digital transformation are discussed in the classroom.
Prerequisites
General entry requirements and passed courses of 30 credits in Business Administration and/or Economics. Including taken the course Sustainable Enterprise - Social and Ecological Perspectives, 7,5 (or the equivalent). Proof of English proficiency is required.
