Intermediate Microeconomics and Mathematical Economics 7.5 credits
Course Contents
Important elements of the course are:
- Decision-making by firms and consumers,
- Alternative market forms,
- Pricing practices,
- Uncertainty and asymmetric information,
- Public goods and market failures,
- Principal-agent relationships,
- Various mathematical techniques useful for microeconomic analysis
- Students can earn bonus points by regularly submitting assignments, which will be added to their final exam scores. Bonus points are valid only for the academic year in which they are earned.
Prerequisites
30 credits in Business Administration or Economics including Macroeconomics 7.5 credits at G1N level and Microeconomics 7.5 credits at G1N level (or the equivalent).
