Oral Health, International Perspectives 7.5 credits

This course gives you the opportunity to achieve knowledge about different cultures related to oral health. The course also gives you the ability to identify and analyze various determinants associated with resources and strategies for promoting oral health care in diverse international contexts.

- welfare factors, determinants and consequences of disability/disease related to oral health - diverse health and social perspectives and interventions related to oral health - strategies for promoting oral health in diverse contexts - structural and social determinants of oral health and the relevance of different perspectives - cultural competence and culturally sensitive oral health approaches

General entry requirements and passed courses of 120 credits in the major subject in oral health.
