Course Contents

The course includes two parts. One part about group dynamics and leadership and one part about project management and methods. The course includes basic project methodology with models and tools for the project manager. Some of the methods are specifically selected to fit the future professions of the programme students. The part about group dynamics and leadership includes theories and models for how the individual, the group and the leader's behaviour influences each other. The course includes the following parts: Group dynamics and leadership - Values and behaviour - The communication process - Intercultural communication - Leadership and teamwork - Change management - Group dynamics Project Management and Methods - Projects as work method - The role of the project manager - Project models - Behaviour analysis and specifications - Project definition including risk, interest and cost analysis - Project planning - Meeting techniques - Follow-up and evaluation

Prerequisites

General entry requirements and Mathematics 2a or 2b or 2c and English 6. Or: Mathematics B and English A (or the equivalent).
