- Psychopathology, treatment methods, pharmacology and care in: - psychosis - neuropsychiatric disorders - anxiety and sleeping disorders - suicide - bipolar disorder - depression - dependency problems - The recovery process for: - patients - those close to patients - care staff - society - Stigmatisation - The situation and roles of those close to patients - Theories, models and concepts in psychiatric care

Prerequisites

General entry requirements and successful completion of courses equivalent to 60 credits regarding basic knowledge in the field of nursing such as fundamentals of nursing and nursing in relation to general health problems. Students should also have basic knowledge in physiology and anatomy, microbiology, general pathophysiology and pharmacology as well as psychology.
