Course Contents

The course aims to give relevant knowledge and skills in the planning and design of urban space from a technical and qualitative perspective, with respect to legislation, supporting a sustainable development. The course addresses the following topics: Urban theory: -Basic theories and concepts Urban planning: -Actors, factors and perspectives influencing the design of urban space -Sustainable development from a planning and design perspective -Urban planning and design from a historical perspective Design: -Spatial analysis methodology -Design and presentation methodology

Prerequisites

General entry requirements and completed courses 60 credits in first cycle, including BIM 2 Analysis and Simulation - Architectural Engineering, 6 credits and History of Architecture, 3 credits (or the equivalent).
