## About the programme International economics explores how trade, financial markets, and global policies impact businesses and societies. As global markets become more complex and data-driven, there is an increasing demand for economists who can think critically, analyse data, and understand international trends in sustainability and innovation. This programme prepares you for exactly that. In your first year, you will build a broad foundation in business, economics, and statistics, studying core subjects such as organisation, finance, marketing, accounting, micro- and macroeconomics, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. This broad base helps you see economics in the wider context of business and society. From your second year, you will specialise in international economics through courses in mathematics, international trade, regional economics, financial markets, and econometrics. You will also gain hands-on experience with large datasets, econometric modelling, and AI-supported tools for data analysis, strengthening your ability to turn complex information into clear, evidence-based insights.
