About the programme:
Expectations are high for attractive, simple and smooth digital services. Companies must adapt to the new reality and develop appealing and user-friendly interfaces to stay competitive. With an eye for aesthetics and an understanding of technology, you'll be a key skill in adapting offers to digital reality.
Graphic Design and Web Development combines graphic design, programming and web design with training in digital marketing and User Experience Design. The programme will give you the skills to design and code interactive web applications for different platforms with a clear focus on the user experience. You will also gain theoretical and practical skills to design graphic material for both printed and digital media.
You will learn to develop user-friendly and communicative experiences and services to create value for enterprises, society and individual users. You will also gain a good foundation in marketing and communication with a focus on internationalisation and a global working environment. During your studies, you will also complete an internship and have the opportunity to study abroad.
After graduation, you will be well prepared for an international career in web, advertising and communication agencies, marketing departments, or in your own company. Alumni from the programme hold positions such as graphic designer, front-end web developer, UX designer and web strategist.
After graduation, you will be eligible to apply to the Master's programmes at JTH and to other Master's programmes at universities worldwide.

Internship
-You will have direct contact with a company in the industry through the Industrial Placement Course (IPC). During the IPC, you will have a nine-week placement at the company. For those who wish, it is also possible to do the internship abroad. The industry is involved in the training through guest lectures and labour market days, among other things.
Study abroad
You will be taught in English and study with students from all over the world.
You will also have the opportunity to spend a semester at one of our partner universities. This will give you international contacts, experience and qualifications that are highly valued by future employers.
After graduation
After graduation, you will be able to work in web, advertising and communication agencies, marketing departments or in your own company. As a graphic designer with a technical profile, your tasks may include designing websites, graphic interfaces and brand-building promotional material. As a web developer, you may work on coding client and server solutions for both desktop and mobile.
