About the programme:
In today’s dynamic and ever-changing world, the need for efficient and sustainable supply chains is growing. Professionals with the skills to effectively manage the flow of materials and information will therefore be in high demand in the international labour market.
The programme prepares you for your future career by providing a broad understanding of how to manage supply chains and industrial processes. You will take courses in sustainable supply chains, quality management, lean practices, logistics, purchasing, IT in supply chains, retail, transport, warehousing, sustainable business relationships, and industrial engineering simulation.
Additionally, you will engage in general courses covering leadership, project management and organisation, and intercultural and international communication. Throughout the programme, the focus will be on sustainability and internationalization. With expertise in technology, economics, and organisation, you will be a valuable resource in the job market.
The programme has a strong international focus while maintaining strong connections to the local business community. It is taught in English, allowing you to collaborate with students from diverse cultural backgrounds across the world. You will also have the opportunity to study abroad during an exchange semester.
Upon completing the programme, you will be prepared to create and manage sustainable supply chains in manufacturing or logistics. Potential job roles include purchaser, junior project manager, sustainability strategist, or logistician. With a few years of professional experience, graduates often progress to leadership positions in the industry, both nationally and internationally.
You will also be eligible to apply for the master's programmes at JTH as well as other master's programmes at universities worldwide.

Internship
The programme will introduce you to several contacts with the industry, including an internship course that extends over an entire semester. You have the opportunity to choose an organisation or company yourself, or you can choose to spend your internship abroad to gain international experience. International skills make you attractive in the global labour market.
Study abroad
The education offers several trips, both in and outside Sweden. For example, an exchange semester, and a semester at one of our international partner universities around the world. In addition, you get a full semester of internship, which also can be done abroad. Studying abroad makes you attractive in the international labour market.
After graduation
With a bachelor's degree in technology, you are ready for the labour market. The education gives you a broad overview and basic theoretical knowledge and technical methods. By specialising in one of our main areas, such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Sustainable Development, the programme prepares you for further studies, such as Master's programmes.
