The benefits of JIBS two-year master’s programmes
The JIBS two-year master’s advantage
Academic depth with real-world relevance
JIBS’ two-year master’s programmes are full-time degrees designed for students who want to build advanced expertise in economics, business, or related fields — while gaining valuable international experience. They combine academic depth, practical application and international reach, giving you both a strong theoretical foundation and the ability to contribute to informed decisions in complex environments.
Tailor your education
You can customise your degree through electives, a semester abroad at one of our many international partner universities, or an internship in Sweden or internationally. You may also choose to pursue a second specialisation. These opportunities broaden your perspective, expand your global network, and enhance your career profile.
A globally recognised business school
JIBS is among the top 1% of business schools worldwide, holding the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA). We are also ranked by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s best business schools, ensuring your degree is internationally recognised and highly valued by employers across industries and borders.
Graduate with confidence
All programmes conclude with a master’s thesis, where you apply your knowledge in an independent research project within your specialisation. Graduates of JIBS’ two-year master’s programmes are well prepared for advanced professional roles and doctoral studies, with many securing employments quickly after graduation.
Internship
The second year of studies includes an international internship course where students study online courses in parallel.
After graduation
With a master’s degree in Leading Change, Organisations and People, you will be prepared for careers in management and consulting, taking on roles such as general manager, project manager, change manager, business developer, people & culture manager, or strategic HR manager. Your ability to combine strategic insight with people-centred leadership will make you highly attractive to employers worldwide, particularly in organisations with an international outlook.
You may also choose to continue into doctoral studies and an academic career.
Graduate as a responsible leader of change — equipped to guide people and organisations through transformation in a global context.
