## About the programme In today’s rapidly changing global markets, competitive advantage depends on the effective management of operations within interconnected supply chains. As consumption increases and products are transported over long distances, sustainable solutions have become essential in supply chain operations. Professionals who can manage, renew, and digitise these processes will be in high demand in the international labour market. ### Developing expertise in integrated supply chain operations This interdisciplinary programme allows you to build advanced skills in supply chain operations management by integrating supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, and work organisation. You will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to design, manage, and develop sustainable operations within complex, networked systems for the delivery of products and services. Throughout the programme, you will also explore key themes such as sustainability and digitalisation and learn how to apply them in developing efficient and future-ready supply chains. Practical experience is a central part of your studies, including projects that address real-world challenges in different industries. Several courses feature study visits and guest lectures from industry professionals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner universities. ### Your future career Upon graduation, you will be well prepared to lead supply chain operations and optimise production systems in global industries. You will have deep knowledge of future business practices and supply chains, enabling you to navigate sustainable, digitalised, and international distribution systems. Potential career paths include: - Operations Manager - Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain Manager After graduation, you are eligible to apply for the PhD programme at JTH, as well as many other PhD programmes worldwide.
