Forskning
David Hallberg är doktor i data- och systemvetenskap samt affilierad forskare vid Encell och Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation. Davids intressen rör lärande, välbefinnande och digitala verktyg i relation till FN:s globala utbildningsmål (Agenda 2030), ofta med aktionsforskning där målgruppen medverkar i att formulera syfte och mål. Tidigare projekt har studerat teknikutvecklingens påverkan på individer och utsatta grupper i lokala samhällen, både nationellt och internationellt.

Biografi
David disputerade vid Stockholms universitet med fokus på livslångt lärande och yrkesutbildning i relation till digitalisering. Han är utbildad yrkeslärare, sjuksköterska och STEM-lärare, och har arbetat internationellt med forskning, undervisning, IKT-pedagogik och handledning.

Som exempel kan nämnas gästdocent på Universidade Brasil, Brasilien och på University of Douala, Kamerun, samt handledare och IKT-pedagog på Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College, Tanzania. David medverkar även som inbjuden forskare i dialogmöten organiserade av organisationer inom civilsamhället.

Just nu arbetar han som gymnasielärare och handleder en doktorand från Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya, inom datasäkerhet och maskininlärning. David har också förtroendeuppdrag i Dag Hammarskjöldstiftelsen i Jönköping, Svenska FN-förbundet, och Svenska Röda Korset.
