Xenia Panayot is a doctoral student in the project Workplace and Higher Education Learning for Professional AI-gency and Digital Transformation (WAIT). Her research looks at the intersection of higher education and lifelong learning, focusing on how universities and workplaces respond to the growing demand for AI-related competences and skills. As AI becomes part of professional life, new questions emerge about which competences are needed, how they are defined, and how they can be developed across education and work.

In its initial phase, the project maps current educational responses and explores ways to make sense of the dynamics of lifelong learning - its forms, content, and contexts.

Xenia has a background in teaching and curriculum design and holds a Master of Science in IT and Learning from the University of Gothenburg.
