About the programme:
In today's business environment, effective marketing is crucial for building a strong brand and attaining a competitive advantage. This program offers an immersive, hands-on learning experience, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to excel in this fast-evolving field.
Marketing Management equips you to work in business development and growth, leading marketing and business renewal projects and functions. The programme integrates theory, practice, and group work to provide valuable real-world experience. During your fifth semester, you will have the opportunity to specialize by studying abroad, taking elective courses, or gaining practical experience through internships and real-world projects while learning from industry experts.
The programme emphasizes entrepreneurship and international marketing from the very first semester. You will also study marketing communication, analytics, statistics, supply chain management, and research methodology. In your final year, you will delve into international marketing law, and brand management and complete your bachelor thesis.
International exposure is a key aspect of the program. All teaching is in English, allowing you to collaborate with students from many other countries. You will also have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad and expand your international network.
Additionally, you can pursue a double degree through our exchange programme with the Universitat Ramon Llull (IQS) in Spain.
Upon graduation, you will be well-prepared for roles related to marketing in various industries within national and international companies. Previous graduates have secured positions as product managers, business developers, communication strategists, brand managers, project managers, and export managers.
Following completion of the programme, you will be eligible to apply to the master’s programmes in Business Administration and Economics at JIBS and universities worldwide.

Internship
In this programme you have the possibility to do a 10-week internship during your elective semester if you don’t choose to study abroad at one of our partner universities. This internship can be done anywhere in the world and is a great opportunity to see how you can apply economic theories and tools to real-life problems.
Study abroad
The fifth semester offers plenty of options to specify. Either by studying abroad at one of JIBS' recommended partner schools, or by taking elective courses of your choice at JIBS, which also allows you to do an internship in another country.
The Marketing Management Programme also includes an opportunity to apply for a double degree exchange with IQS Business School (Spain).
After graduation
After completing your programme, you will be well prepared to tackle a range of positions related to marketing in local as well as international businesses.
The programme will prepare you for positions such as project leader, marketing assistant, communication planner, marketing coordinator, business developer, product manager, brand manager, salesperson, account manager/key account manager/service manager, after-sales, or export manager.
With your degree, you can apply to both Swedish and international master's programmes. Please note that master's programmes may have different entry requirements.
