Therese Jonsson
Therese Jonsson is a doctoral student in Health and Care Sciences at the Research School of Health and Welfare as well as the Research School of Integrated Care (Nära vård) in Örebro. Therese also works as a lecturer in the Occupational Therapy Programme at the Department of Rehabilitation within the School of Health and Welfare.
Therese’s doctoral project is part of the larger research project A Place for Good and Integrated Care in Nursing Homes – Everyday Life and Care Practices. The overall aim is to understand how nursing homes need to be designed in order to meet the requirements for Person-centred and Integrated Care while also being a place that enables a good everyday life for othe residents.

The main supervisor is Professor Lena Rosenberg (Jönköping University). Co-supervisors are Ulrika Börjesson, PhD – Research Director at the Social Services Administration, Jönköping Municipality – and Sophie Gaber, PhD, Uppsala University.
Therese is a member of OSERC (Occupational Science Europe Research Committee) and serves as a representative in the Doctoral Council at Jönköping University.
