The purpose of the research is to understand what smart wooden house manufacturing is and how it can be realized. Among other things, the wooden house industry is compared to established concepts such as smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0. to see differences and similarities. Right now, the wooden house industry is in a digitalization/digitization phase where some of the "smartness" is to have effective digitized information flows through the organization.
