Courses offered for exchange students coming to Jönköping International Business School, Jönköping University
Important: From Autumn 2026, Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) will start implementing a new programme structure, which means that Bachelor and Master students will be subject to different rules when choosing courses. Please find more information below, relevant to your study level:
Bachelor Students
- A full-time study load for one semester is 30 credits. You are required to choose an even spread of courses over the full semester to maintain a manageable workload. This is helped by the semester being split into 2 study periods; you should choose 15 credits per study period.
- Schedule clashes and overlaps can occur. If clashes are too frequent, course changes will be required and handled during the Introduction Week.
- Please ensure you meet the prerequisites of the courses you are interested in studying and read the course syllabi on the web carefully. Students cannot switch courses due to a preference change once the semester has started.
- Bachelor students are not permitted to study Master level courses.
- Please download the Excel file listed below to get an overview of the bachelor courses, including dates, subject areas, study period and level. We try our best to keep the Excel file up to date as changes happen. The full list of courses can be found on the direct webpage.

Master Students
- From Autumn 2026, Master students are strongly advised to choose a course package worth 30 ECTS (equal to a full-time study load in Sweden). To view the recommended packages, please download the PDF file listed below.
- If you are unable to follow one of the recommended packages, you must build your own 30 ECTS package using the individual courses from the Excel File listed below. You are required to choose an even spread of courses over the full semester to maintain a manageable workload. This is helped by the semester being split into 3 study periods; you should choose approximately 10 credits per study period.
- Schedule clashes and overlaps can occur. If clashes are too frequent, course changes will be required and handled during the Introduction Week.
- The Swedish Language course(s) can be added as extra credits.
- Please ensure you meet the prerequisites of the courses and read the course information/syllabi on the web carefully.
- Master students are not permitted to study Bachelor level courses.
