About the programme:
Globalisation and digitalisation are reshaping the global economy. Businesses and organisations face complex challenges daily that require innovation and change, and your interdisciplinary skills will make you an invaluable asset. Whether you want to become a consultant, analyst or decision-maker, your ability to analyse and navigate through these changes will make you stand out in the global job market.
During the programme, you will learn to analyse the business opportunities that digitalisation brings to both new and existing companies, and stimulate creative thinking in areas such as digitalisation, strategic change, business development and innovation.
The programme combines practical experience with theoretical knowledge in the areas of business, informatics, and law.
The first year focuses on digitalisation, entrepreneurship, business analysis and consulting. You will also gain an understanding of AI-based methods for data analytics. In the second year, you will study organisational management, innovation and digital law and write your master's thesis. To prepare you for working in an international environment, you can take an international internship course in the second year of your studies.
After completing your studies, you will be well equipped to work as, for example, a digital strategist, analyst, innovation leader or change manager for companies, authorities, or organisations. But you can also work as a consultant or an entrepreneur.
After graduation, you will be eligible to apply for the PhD programme in Economics at JIBS, and other PhD programmes in Economics worldwide.
