Nordic Network LLL
Language, Literacy and Learning
Call for chapter abstracts (deadline 17/2 2017)
Network Aim:
The aim of the LLL Nordic research network is to critically engage with frontline issues related to language, literacy and learning practices in the 21st century. We focus upon complexities of multilingual and multimodal practices, settings (face-to-face and virtual), personhood/identity and in-between spaces/places across time. This implies an explicit engagement with the flows of concepts, categorizations and boundaries that pertain to the domains of language, literacy and learning. With these premises as points of departure, the network wishes to promote dialogue between a range of social approaches and disciplinary vantage points to challenge and contribute to current understandings in the domains of language, literacy and learning. In addition to joint work (publications, conferences, etc), we aim to engage with stake holders regionally and more broadly in the Nordic contexts.
