About the programme:
In a world where international competition is rising, there is an increasing demand for leaders who can drive business growth and take advantage of new business opportunities. Your skills will be highly sought after, opening opportunities for an exciting international career.
International Management will provide you with a foundation in economics and business studies, emphasising the skills needed to be part of a management team and drive business renewal in an international context.
Courses include entrepreneurship, microeconomics, macroeconomics, organisational management, strategy and international marketing. During your fifth semester, you will have the chance to specialise through studying abroad or taking elective courses. Additionally, the programme offers opportunities to complete an internship abroad and to pursue a double degree through our exchange programme with Kedge Business School (France).
Throughout your studies, you will have the chance to connect with the business world through our partner companies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to solving real business challenges and gain practical experience to prepare you for your professional life.
Upon graduation, you will be well prepared to start your own business or work as a business developer, market coordinator, product manager, brand manager, export manager or project manager in Sweden and internationally.
After graduation, you will be eligible to apply to the master’s programmes in Economics and Business Administration at JIBS and universities worldwide.

Internship
In this programme you have the possibility to do a 10-week internship during your elective semester if you don’t choose to study abroad at one of our partner universities. This internship can be done anywhere in the world and is a great opportunity to see how you can apply economic theories and tools to real-life problems.
Study abroad
The fifth semester offers plenty of options to specify. Either by studying abroad at one of JIBS' recommended partner schools, or by taking elective courses of your choice at JIBS, which also allows you to do an internship in another country.
- The International Management Programme also includes an opportunity to apply for a double degree exchange with Kedge Business School (Frankrike).
After graduation
With a degree from the International Management programme at JIBS you have an excellent foundation for starting your own business or pursuing an international career as business developer, financial assistant, junior analyst, marketing coordinator, salesperson, product manager, brand manager, account manager/key account manager/service manager, marketing assistant, export manager, or project leader.
