CHILD in Vietnam

Karina Huus and Ingalill Gimbler Berglund visits Vietnam to continue the research collaboration with Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy.

In Mars, researchers Karina Huus and Ingalill Gimbler Berglund visited Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy in Vietnam. The main purpose of the visit was to supervise Minor Field Studies students who collected data for their bachelor thesis in Vietnam. One of the other purposes was to plan for the continuing collaboration between the department of nursing at School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University and department of nursing at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy within the Linnaeus Palme program. Another issue was to continue a mutual research project about nurse’s knowledge and attitudes to children in pain. We made a lot of new contacts with our colleagues at the department of nursing, and had fruitful discussions. In the photo we are in the skills lab discussing pedagogic issues.
