CHILD on a trip to China

In September CHILD-researchers Karin Enskär and Karina Huus together with a group from the School of Health and Welfare, went on a trip to China looking for collaborative partnerships. They visited 5 universities, whereof two already are partners to our School and 3 possible new collaborative partners.

CHILD on a trip to China in September 2016

CHILD-Professor Karin Enskär and Associate Professor Karina Huus have been to China to visit five Universities, Hong Kong University where HHJ already have ongoing student exchange, Hubei University of Medicine, Anhui Medical University, Lanzhou University and Tianjin University. At Tianjin University we have an ongoing collaboration for five years on both student, teacher and research level.

The purpose of the visits was to discuss teacher and student exchange and to offer possibilities for students to come to Jönköping University and study on all levels. We also discussed research collaboration.

Karina Huus supervised two doctoral students Lin Jun Shi and Hong Zheng at Tianjin University, they will take part in the CHILD research group and do research about participation for children with disabilities in China.

We did also visit the forbidden city in Beijing and the old town in Tianji
