Patrik Arvidsson is a PhD in Disability Research and a Clinical Psychologist. His research is focusing on participation, inclusive processes and psychological health in people with disability in general, and in people with intellectual disability in particular.
He is also interested in research in exploring factors related to participation (according to ICF) and psychological health, both individual factors such as cognitive functions, and contextual factors such as societal support.
Patrik Arvidsson is a research coordinator at the clinical department on Adult’s Habilitation center in Region Gävleborg where he also works clinically. He is also a Research Associate at the Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, University of Pretoria, South Africa.
