Older Adults and Aging is a multidisciplinary network and a forum for discussion specifically about aging and older adults. We address critical questions concerning the experiences of aging and aim to initiate new interdisciplinary projects and research collaborations. Our research highlights social, psychological, biological, and functional aspects of aging from a life course perspective, and not least the social situation and position of older individuals in society. Ongoing projects focus on younger people with dementia, welfare technology in home care services, and digital tools for monitoring interventions in dementia care, home rehabilitation, and older adults in relation to heatwaves, as well as studies based on longitudinal population and twin research.
