Jönköping University receives requested teacher training
Jönköping University (JU) has received the gratifying news from the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) to obtain a degree permit for subject teachers in mathematics for upper secondary school from the autumn of 2023. A qualification that has high demand in the country's upper secondary schools, not least in the Jönköping region.

Jönköping University appoints recipients of honorary awards
The 2022 recipients of the Per Risberg Scholarship and the Pedagogical Prize at Jönköping University (JU) have now been appointed. The Per Risberg Scholarship goes to Charlotta Mellander, and the Pedagogical Prize goes to Darko Pantelic. The awards will be handed over at the Academic Ceremony on 8 October.
JU students design furniture for forest hotel by Gert Wingårdh
Students who recently graduated from the Product Development with Furniture Design programme at the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU) have designed and built furniture for the Trakt Forest Hotel in Holsbybrunn outside of Vetlanda. The hotel is designed by Gert Wingårdh, famous from the TV show "Husdrömmar", and will be inaugurated on 14 June.
Congratulations to all 1,800 newly graduated students
On Friday 10 June, the graduation ceremonies were held for the School of Education and Communication (HLK) and the The School of Health and Welfare (HHJ). The week before, on Friday 3 June, The School of Engineering (JTH) held its graduation ceremony and Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) on Saturday 4 June. JU congratulates all the graduates and wishes them good luck for the future!
