Showing of the test chassis for the solar car 2019

This year's test chassis is finalized! For the fourth time, JU Solar Team is building a solar car in order to participate in the competition Bridgestone World Solar Challange in Australia.

The JU Solar Team consists of a group of students, from the School of Engineering, Jönköping International Business School and the School of Education and Communication, who builds the optimal solar car in order to participate in the competition Bridgestone World Solar Challange. This is the fourth time that the JU Solar Team is in the competition and represents Jönköping University.

Since last autumn things have been busy in the JU Solar Team workshop. The construction team has had their hands full with building and finalizing the test chassis for the 2019 solar car.

The purpose of the test chassis is to be able to verify the components before putting them into the real car. By doing this, they can make sure that only the best versions of each component are chosen. The goal is to build a faster, safer and better car than the previous year models.

To celebrate the test chassis, the team through a revival for our sponsors and partners. It was a great success and they look forward to their next event. An unveiling ceremony will be held when the real car is ready, as anyone who wants to have the opportunity to see it. More info about it will come later this spring. To be continued!
