Degree certificate

From April 1, 2024, degree certificates from Jönköping University are issued digitally only. A digital certificate contains the same information as a paper certificate.

Degree certificates issued by Jönköping University are bilingual, Swedish and English. The degree certificate includes the scope of the education, courses passed, number of credits, grades, dates of grades and the title of the degree project. The degree certificate also includes the Diploma Supplement, which among other things states the content and scope of studies, and where in the Swedish educational system the education is positioned.

The digital degree certificate consists of a PDF file with an e-stamp. This means that the document cannot be altered after downloading it from Ladok. Verification of the stamp can be done by uploading the document to Ladok's verification page. It is also possible to verify the e-stamp by using Adobe. To collect your degree certificate, log in to Ladok for students or Ladok for alumni and choose "Degrees and certificates". This is available all the time and you can print it out if you like.

The digital solution only applies to degree certificates issued as of 1 April 2024. Previously issued degree certificates from Jönköping University are in paper form and cannot be obtained in the new digital system.
