After completing Pathway, Xiaohe went on to study a master’s degree in Experimental and Medical Biosciences at Linköping University.

She was able to integrate well in Sweden as a result of the Swedish lessons, study visits and extra-curricular activities on the Pathway programme.

She also made significant improvements in English. This autumn she is taking the last of her exams and plans to continue studying Swedish.

“There is lots of problem-based learning, plus group work and academic discussions here in Sweden. Self-study is also very important. It is truly a wonderful experience to study with people of different backgrounds and cultures”
