School of Engineering

The School of Engineering in Jönköping is one of the country's largest educators of university engineers. We collaborate with the business community in the region so that students receive an education adapted to the needs of the market. Therefore, our educations include not only technical knowledge but also entrepreneurship, leadership, communication, sustainable development and the opportunity to make international contacts during the study period.

Study at School of Engineering

The School of Engineering offers education at bachelor, masters and doctoral levels (first, second and third-cycle levels), and 2-year courses at university college level and higher vocational education level.

Research

The research at the School of Engineering focuses on knowledge-intensive product realization in collaboration with the business community. We also run the research and education environment SPARK.

Organisation

The School of Engineering is part of the Jönköping University Foundation and is one of four schools at Jönköping University.

Doctoral Programme

The School of Engineering runs the graduate school Industrial Product Realisation and several business graduate schools in collaboration.

International Campuses

The International Campuses of the School of Engineering (JTH-IC) are our nodes for implementation of education and research in an international environment.

What's happening at the School of Engineering

JU Solar Team once again the best Swedish team

JU Solar Team was once again Sweden's best team in the world's largest solar car race, the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia, 24-31 August. The JU students came in eighth place in the competition among 40 participating teams.

September lights 27 September

Students studying the Lighting Design and Technology programme at JTH organize the September light show every year together with the municipality of Jönköping. The students then showcase their self-built, innovative and often colorful lighting creations to the public.

Cybersecurity Day 1 October

At the Cybersecurity Day at the JTH, you will learn about our latest research and education in the field. You will meet students studying one of our cybersecurity programmes and listen to lectures by, among others, Jan Olsson, well-known expert in cybersecurity and fraud crimes. More information about the event will be available later.

Karriärum 5 November

Our career fair Karriärum on 5 November at 10.00-15.00 is a large meeting place with about 130 exhibiting companies and 1,500 visiting students. Companies can find valuable employees and endless opportunities can be unlocked for both companies and students!
