Migration of home directory

There may be disruptions when IT service migrates the home directory G: (your file storage on JU's server) to new servers starting 14 November.

Students' home directories will be moved gradually during November and December 2016. The migration can cause temporary interruptions with the home directory, which means that it cannot be reached.

After the migration, the following services will no longer be available for use:

• NetStorage (for access to the home directory from private computer)
• Shared rights (if used)
• Personal web page on G: (for testing web pages)

From now on, OneDrive is our recommended service for accessing files from computers off campus and Outlook Groups for sharing files. Both are accessible from portal.office.com.
