Join JU at the Pride parade

Jönköping Pride week opens on August 19 and the town of Jönköping will raise their rainbow flags. The week will end with a big pride parade and celebrations at Rådhusparken.

Our students have a tradition of joining the parade through their student association Spectra and a small group of staff usually joins them. This year we encourage and invite all staff of JU to come and join us in the parade. We will meet at 14.00 in the Orangeriet at HLK to mingle and prepare for the Pride parade together.

The parade starts at 15.00 at Per Brahe gymnasiets car park, and ends at Rådhuset with celebrations, music and performing artists.

“Jönköping and JU is a place for everyone, where we together drive development and actively work for diversity and tolerance. That’s why we at JU raise the rainbow flag and are proud of students and staff engaging in the parade," says JU President Agneta Marell.
