Radio K Cares – fundraising event for Musikhjälpen 2019
This year's 'Musikhjälpen' (Music Aid) event kicks off on 9 December and has as its theme "Sex is not a weapon". To support Musikhjälpen, Jönköping University is holding "Radio K Cares". The student union radio station, Radio K, will broadcast live for 24 hours, during which a number of different activities will be taking place to raise money for Musikhjälpen.
At 10.00 on Tuesday, December 10, "Radio K Cares" will start its 24-hour live broadcast from the studio at the School of Education and Communication.
During these hours a lot of different activities will be taking place, held by both student associations and external participants. Among other things, there will be a self-defence course, a lunchtime concert and competitions with great prizes to win. Farah Abadi (middle), former Media and communications-student at HLK, is one of the hosts of Musikhjälpen 2019. Together with Daniel Hallberg and Miriam Bryant, she will broadcast live from 'the cage' in Västerås from 9-15 December.
