New semester with Kick Off
On Monday 22 August, the autumn semester starts at JU, including a ten-day Kick Off organized by Jönköping Student Union.
Thousands of students arrive in Jönköping, so expect a lively campus and gatherings at various locations in Jönköping in the coming days. Nearly 4,000 new students arrive in Jönköping to begin their studies for their first time. After two years of the pandemic, a traditional Kick Off can finally be arranged.
In addition to roll calls for most programmes and practical information from the schools, JU will arrange a master mingle and a welcome fair.
Jönköping Student Union and the student associations of the schools (JSA, HITECH, LOK and Health Section) will arrange various student social activities during the afternoons.
A selection of activities this week are:
- Wednesday 24 August 13:00-14:30: Master Mingle in Campus Arena for all master's students.
- Friday 26 August 11:00-13:00: Welcome Fair in Campus Arena for all new students.
- Saturday 27 August at 13:00: Pre-party in Hälsoparken before the Kick Off Festival on campus at 17:00.
During the Kick Off Festival you will be able to buy JU branded products in our Service Center.
