Suicide prevention day at the School of Health and Welfare on 9 September
The day includes several lectures from both internal and external people, including the Student Health Care, the emergency services association, Region Jönköping County and Nina Gunnarsson, Senior lecturer, Department of Social Work, School of Health and Welfare. Welcome to learn more about suicide prevention efforts and methods.

The programme is divided during the day and will be given in English in the morning and in Swedish in the afternoon. The lectures are in Forum Humanum, room Ga308, located on the entrance floor of the School of Health and Welfare.
It is not only during Monday that suicide prevention efforts are organized. Throughout week 37, work and knowledge about suicide prevention efforts are highlighted around Jönköping County (read more in Swedish Suicidpreventiva veckan - Kommunal utveckling).

Student Health Care participates in various events on campus
During week 37, the Student Health Care will also participate in two different events.
The events will be held in Swedish.
Andreas Jonsson is working on lecturing on personal development, well-being and diversity. He will contribute to the suicide prevention week with the lecture “If the ball is not round.” In the lecture you are deeply touched by a strong life story about peer pressure and the desire to fit in. And what happens when you feel that you do not. The lecture will be held in the JP auditorium at JIBS on Monday evening.
On Tuesday evening, a concert and lecture with Daniel Karlsson, also known as the artist “The Moniker”, will talk about how the feelings inside are reflected in his music inside the JU Aula at HLK.
