The championship is held here in Jönköping the last weekend of September, with the Marathon happening the following weekend.

Located across the lake from the University (grey building with "RODD" sign), Jönköping Rowing Club is a great place to get a head-start towards qualifying for a place on a competition crew and train cardio and strength and rowing over the summer and next year!
The Jönköping Rowing Club coaching staff provide training that can get even beginners up to a level of rowing proficiency that can win a medal in various categories.
So if you are staying in Jönköping over the summer, need a place to train, or want to start rowing after the summer, visit the link above.
In order to be allowed to compete, you must be a programme student with at least one year left to study at your programme at Jönköping University.
Crew try-outs will be scheduled for the fall.
