Doctoral Candidate Economics

Gabriel Rodríguez-Puello is a PhD candidate in Economics at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS). He completed two bachelor’s degrees, the first one in Economics and the second one in Finance and International Business, both from Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar in Colombia. He subsequently obtained a master’s degree in Applied Economics with major in regional studies from Universidad Católica del Norte in Chile. Additionally, he has been teaching in the bachelor economics program and doing research both in Colombia and Chile. Gabriel’s research interests are in applied microeconomics, including regional economics, resource economics, labor economics, and well-being.
