The School of Education and Communication works with internationalisation in several different ways and participates in many international collaborations. Collaborations take place both in our education programs and in our research.

A large part of our international cooperation involves international exchanges of various kinds; students doing internships abroad or studying part of their course at other universities, but also staff exchanging experiences with colleagues at other universities. International experiences contribute to personal development and to insight and understanding of other cultures and values for our students but also for our staff.

What does internationalisation mean for the School of Education and Communication?

  • We attract teachers and students from all over the world, which contributes to an international environment.
  • Many courses are taught in English to enable students from different countries to study together.
  • Study abroad is a possibility offered in all programs and is based on collaborations with about 80 partner universities worldwide.
  • Teachers and researchers are given good conditions for international contacts and exchanges.

In encounters with other cultures and other fields of knowledge, we can learn from each other. The School of Education and Communication has around 80 partner universities worldwide with a constant exchange of students and staff.

Every year, 120 of our students study at one of our partner universities. International perspectives enrich and enhance the quality of our programs.
