Nils-Erik Ohlson

Industrial Doctoral Student

My research focus is Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) in an engineer-to-order (ETO) context. The challenge is to find out and test how the process can be enhanced by e.g., Machine Learning for different types of predictions throughout the related functions in process. Further focus will be on how both vertical and horizontal integration can be improved in order to reach a fully integrated S&OP which also can be called Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
