Waqas has master’s in electrical engineering with experience in green renewable systems. Additionally, he has competencies in accelerated aging tests and fault tracking through machine, and deep learning using invasive and non-invasive approaches.

Currently, he is developing strategies to estimate the end of life of an outdoor power product through direct and indirect wear analysis. The project, titled iCircular3, focuses on the circular economy, digital twin, and digital ledger technology. It falls under the European Commission’s Horizon 2021 framework.
