Forskning

Ingela Bergmo-Prvulovic behandlar i sin forskning hur innebörden av karriär influeras och påverkas av olika förändringar i arbetslivet. Bergmo-Prvulovic intresserar sig för hur den pågående arbetslivsomvandlingen inverkar på vuxna i arbetslivet, samt vilka implikationer detta får för den karriärstödjande och vägledande praktiken avseende vuxnas karriärrelaterade frågor.

I sina studier använder Bergmo-Prvulovic multipla nivåer för analys, såsom strukturell nivå, individuell nivå och den mellanliggande nivån inom vilken karriärstödjande verksamheter är lokaliserad. Bergmo-Prvulovics avhandlingsarbete är indelat i fyra separata studier, var och en med sitt specifika syfte. Som övergripande teorietisk ram tillämpas social representationsteori.

I sin fortsatta forskning fördjupar och vidareutvecklar Bergmo-Prvulovic sin karriärforskning, med inriktning på såväl utveckling av det teoretiska och analytiska ramverket karriär som social och professionell representation, vilket i sin tur empiriskt prövats i efterföljande studier. Vidare fokuserar Bergmo-Prvulovic sin forstatta forskning på professioners karriärutveckling i ett föränderligt arbetsliv, där bland annat lärarprofessionen studerats i olika studier. Även vuxnas lärande i olika sammanhang är fokus för Bergmo-Prvulovics studier. 

Biografi

Bergmo-Prvulovic är Fil Dr, och lektor i pedagogik med mångårig erfarenhet av undervisning på såväl studie- och yrkesvägledarprogram, masterprogram i karriärutveckling, personalprogram och HR-program, vid både Stockholms Universitet och Jönköping University. Kommunikativt ledarskap, professionella samtal, konflikthantering liksom relationen mellan utbildning och arbetsliv, arbetslivspedagogik, vuxenpedagogik och livslångt lärande är några av Bergmo-Prvulovics specialområden. Bergmo Prvulovic är en flitigt anlitad föreläsare såväl nationellt som internationellt, och är också anlitad som föreläsare och handledare för doktorandstudenter vid European Doctoral Programme in Career Guidance and Counselling. 

Sedan 2018 är hon också Programansvarig/Utbildningsledare för HR-programmet på Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation, Jönköping University. Programmet har två inriktningar, psykologi respektive företagsekonomi. 

Bergmo-Prvulovic har gedigen erfarenhet av karriärvägledande och pedagogiskt arbete med vuxnas lärprocesser, med vuxna i arbetsrelaterade förändringsprocesser, samt med utveckling av valideringsprocesser inom vuxenutbildningen. Hon har också varit projektledare för "Yrkesidentifiering i samband med SFI" samt handledare i "Meritportfölj" inom SFI. Vidare har hon varit anlitad som sakkunnig i projektet OBSERVAL. Bergmo-Prvulovic är också medlem i organisationen International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance och ingår i det svenska forskningsnätverket KAV – Karriärutveckling och Karriärvägledning, liksom i det Europeiska forskningsnätverket ESREA.
