Dr. Muhammad Qadeer is an acting assistant professor in Component Technology. He received his B.S. from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan and master’s in advanced materials from Chalmers Tekniska Högskola. In the year 2013, he was awarded the P.hD. degree in polymer and composite materials by Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan. Dr. Qadeer has published five research articles in internationally reputed peer-reviewed journals. He has published articles in cross-disciplinary fields. He has a keen interest in surface modification of materials with organic, inorganic, and hybrid coatings. Dr. Qadeer has also worked as a lecturer of Materials Science at the University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. Besides good academic background, he has industrial work experience as well. He has worked as a research chemist at Albany international AB. He has more than 18 years of professional experience. Surface modification, material characterization, failure analysis, material processing, and sustainable product development are his key areas of interest. Dr. Qadeer also feels pride in participating in social-work.
