Anna Sellin is a doctoral candidate at the Law Department at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS). After graduating with a Master degree in Commercial and Tax Law from JIBS in 2006, she worked for two years as manager of the Swedish Institute of Foreign Law at JIBS (IUR - Institutet för utländsk rätt). This work included editing the journal IUR-Information and arranging and co-ordinating external seminars within different fields of commercial law. Anna became a doctoral candidate in constitutional and company law in 2008.
Anna's doctoral thesis focuses on constitutional aspects of interest representation and the impact of lobbying upon commercial legislation, specifically in relation to company law and securities law. The working title of her thesis is Konstitutionella aspekter på intresserepresentation inom bolagsrätt och börsrätt - en komparativ analys av effekterna av olika regleringssystem i Sverige och USA. In her thesis, Anna compares the influence of interest representation on commercial legislation and the transparency of the law-making processes in Sweden and the USA.
Anna is currently teaching within constitutional law, credit and securities law, as well as employment anti-discrimination and the responsibility of employers concerning working conditions and environment within labour law.
